A furniturecompany thatkept its factory

Most of the furniture brands in the Kingdom are importers with a logo. We started the other way round — with a workshop, and a showroom added later.

A note from the founder

I only ever wanted one chair made properly.

In 2015 I waited five months for a majlis set and took delivery of the wrong fabric. The replacement took eleven more weeks. Nobody could tell me where my furniture was, because nobody actually knew — it was in four buildings, and none of them were the showroom's.

I bought a saw. I rented a unit on Al Kharj Road that was too big for what I could build and too small for what I wanted to. The first year we made thirty-eight pieces and I delivered most of them myself.

What I learned in that first year is the whole company: if you do not own the bench, you cannot promise a date. Everything else — the catalogue, the showroom, the forty-six people — came after that one idea and because of it.

If you are reading this before ordering, come and stand in the building. Ask anyone on the floor what they are making. They will know, and they will tell you, and that is the whole argument.

How it happened

Three rooms, in the order we built them.

The company grew backwards compared with most furniture brands: the workshop first, then the catalogue, then somewhere to sell from.

A unit, a saw and four people

Six hundred square metres on Al Kharj Road, most of it empty. One second-hand panel saw that needed re-calibrating every Monday.

Thirty-eight pieces that first year, all majlis seating, all for people who knew somebody who knew Omar.

Upholstery moves in

We had been driving frames across Riyadh to an upholsterer and back. Every trip added a queue we could not see and could not promise around.

Nine upholstery stations went into the next room. Lead times halved that quarter and have never gone back up.

Somewhere to sell from

Three years of building before we had a showroom, which every consultant told us was the wrong order.

It is the reason a consultant here can answer a question about a joint — the bench is through the door behind them.

How we got here

Ten years, one address.

We have expanded the building four times and never moved out of it.

    Trade and projects

First hotel contract — ninety covers in fourteen weeks. It taught us to schedule properly, which every private client has benefited from since.

  5. 2026

    8,400 m², 46 people

Joinery, upholstery, finishing, photography and dispatch, all still reachable from the same corridor.

What we hold to

Three rules we don't bend.

Every furniture company says it cares about quality. These are the three specific things we refuse to trade away, including when it costs us the job.

Who decides what

Five people, and what each one owns.

Small enough that you can find out who made a decision, and ask them why.

Inside the building

Four rooms and a corridor.

You can walk all of it in ninety seconds, which is exactly why a frame that fails inspection on Tuesday is re-cut on Tuesday.

Where it comes from

Every material, and who we buy it from.

Most furniture brands will not tell you this. Publishing it is a commitment: if we change a supplier, this page changes with it.

Suppliers and certifications listed here are placeholders. Confirm each one with the supplier, and keep the certificate numbers on file, before this page goes live.

Made in Saudi Arabia

Local content, meant literally.

Made-in-Saudi is a label a lot of importers wear lightly. Here is what it means in our case, in numbers a procurement officer can check.

Said elsewhere

What other people wrote.

Coverage of the workshop rather than the catalogue, which is the part we would rather be known for.
