46 people, one building
We hire slowly and keep people a long time. Most of the floor has been here more than four years, which in this industry is unusual.
Not perks. The things that actually differ from the last workshop most of our people came from.
Nobody here cuts parts for someone else to assemble in another building. You watch the piece leave, and your initials are on the drawing that goes in the file.
We buy the machine when the machine is the answer. If something is slow because the tooling is wrong, say so — that is how half the floor got re-equipped.
Upholsterers learn joinery and joiners learn finishing, paid, during the working day. It is why we can move people between rooms when a contract lands.
Send a note and, if you have them, photographs of work you have made. We read everything and reply either way.
On the floor
Three years or more on frames, foam and hand-stretched fabric. You will work on made-to-order pieces from day one, not sample stock. Experience with leather is useful but we will teach it.
Mortise and tenon by hand and by machine. We work almost entirely in solid walnut and oak, so a feel for how timber moves matters more than speed on a CNC.
Hand-rubbed oil, five coats, in a dust-sealed room. Patience is the whole job. We will train the right person from a related trade.
Front of house
You will spend your first month in the factory, because you cannot sell this furniture without having watched it being built. Arabic and English both needed.
Scheduling contract work against retail capacity, and keeping architects informed before they have to ask. Suits someone from site management or interiors procurement.
The showroom on Al Kharj Road holds every piece in this catalogue. Book a slot and we will have the fabrics and finishes waiting on the table.
Site under construction
You have arrived while the scaffolding is up. Pages, photography, prices and numbers are placeholders and will change. Have a look around — just do not hold us to the details yet.
